Gary Hunt Chainsaw Monk Pewter Miniature Figure 2016 Unpainted

A wonderfully unusual Chainsaw Monk miniature designed and sculpted by New Zealand artist Gary Hunt.

This post-apocalyptic sci-fi character comes from Gary Hunt’s range of miniature figures and depicts one of his eco-monks – survivors living in a toxic future world where conventional weapons are scarce and improvised tools have become weapons.

The figure was released in 2016 as an open-edition miniature and was sold through Wētā as part of the Gary Hunt Miniatures range. It is traditionally sculpted and cast in pewter.

Although suitable for use with a variety of post-apocalyptic or sci-fi tabletop games, the Chainsaw Monk is not tied to one specific gaming system and also makes an excellent standalone collectible.
